The story

Switzerland has more than 570 Thai-massage salons, distributed across 105 cities from Zurich to Lugano. Yet for anyone trying to book a session, the experience has been a patchwork: Google Maps surfaces whatever ranks locally, classifieds sites like Anibis bury salons under generic categories, and international platforms like Fresha or Treatwell only show businesses willing to register and pay commissions of up to 30 %.

Zenarion takes the opposite approach. Every Swiss Thai-massage salon is catalogued whether it has registered with us or not, with services, prices, opening hours, and reviews surfaced in German, French, Italian, and English. The platform is free for salons. Visitors compare side by side and book directly. Salons that claim their listing can edit, respond to messages, and accept bookings without paying a percentage of every transaction.

Today he leads technical architecture and AI automation at Prime Public Media AG in Zurich, and built Zenarion in his evenings after noticing the Swiss Thai-massage scene had no honest, multilingual, comparison-driven directory anywhere on the open web.

Press FAQ

Common questions journalists ask. For anything specific or not covered here, write to [email protected].

What is Zenarion?
Zenarion is an independent Swiss directory of Thai-massage salons. Every Thai-massage salon in Switzerland is catalogued in German, French, Italian and English — with services, prices, opening hours and verified reviews. Free for visitors and free for salons.
How is Zenarion different from Fresha, Treatwell, local.ch and Anibis?
Three differences. Zenarion is vertical-specific (Thai massage only). Salons appear whether they register with us or not. The commission charged to salons is 0 %, where Fresha and Treatwell take up to 30 % per booking. All four Swiss national languages are native, not machine-translated. Zenarion is also the only one of these platforms to offer "Stories" — a salon posts a photo that stays public for 24 hours, then auto-deletes, free for every salon.
How does Zenarion handle reviews and Swiss privacy law?
Reviews imported from Google Maps preserve the original Google attribution. Reviewer last names are never displayed — only first name plus initial, in line with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revFADP / revDSG / nLPD). Native reviews submitted on Zenarion follow the same standard.
What does Zenarion charge salons?
Listing and claiming a salon page are free forever. An optional Pro plan from CHF 39/month adds more reach and tools — never a commission or a per-booking fee.
Why Thai massage specifically?
Switzerland has over 570 Thai-massage salons across 105 cities and no honest way to compare them. International platforms only list salons willing to pay 30 % commissions; general directories bury them under generic categories. Going vertical-specialist lets us solve the search problem properly in all four Swiss languages instead of half-doing it across every wellness category.
What languages does Zenarion operate in?
Every public page is available in German, French, Italian and English. Salon descriptions and service names are stored per-language. Dates and CHF prices follow Swiss conventions.
Who is behind Zenarion?
Zenarion is currently run by founder Daniel Kušnirik, independently.
Is Zenarion funded?
Self-funded. No external investors.
What is your relationship to Riya Thai Massage?
The founder also operates Riya Thai Massage in Zurich. Editorial neutrality is enforced: Riya's listing follows the same ranking and review rules as every other salon.

Pre-written quotes

Attributable to Daniel Kušnirik, founder. Use verbatim or edit as needed.

“Most directories started broad and tried to cover everything. The bet I'm making is the opposite: pick one thing Swiss residents actually search for, and do it properly in all four languages.”
“Working on Bookio, I watched twenty-five million reservations flow through a single platform. The pattern was always the same — small businesses thrive when discovery is fair and booking is frictionless. That's the standard I'm applying to Zenarion.”
“There are over five hundred Thai-massage salons in Switzerland and no honest way to compare them. That gap shouldn't exist in 2026.”
