Lothringerstrasse 51, 4056 Basel

Uthong Thaimassage is located at Lothringerstrasse 51 in Basel and is run by Natcha, who trained in Bangkok at the Wat Po Traditional Medical School and the Chetawan Thai Traditional Massage School. The salon focuses on traditional Thai massage, a strong anti-stress massage, foot massage, sports massage, hot stone, and therapeutic treatments; its website also states clearly that it is not an erotic massage place.

The positioning is practical and professional rather than spa-generic: the site mentions EMR-certified therapeutic massage, consultations in German, English, French, and Thai, and a treatment style built around classic Thai techniques, stretching, and firm pressure work. Reviews echo that tone, describing a calm atmosphere, friendly service, and effective treatment of tension and problem areas.

Maria did a great job giving a deep tissue massage in combination with traditional thai stretching for 2h! Great experience and won't be my last time there :)

Highly recommend coming here for a massage. Maria was welcoming, recognised my problem areas and was able to use a combination of massage techniques to fix them. The atmosphere is very calming and I will be back again soon to treat myself after a tough gym session or stressful work day. Thank you Uthong Massage and especially Maria!

Beautifully furnished massage parlor. Always very hygienic and clean. The masseuse is very professional and always finds a way to relieve tension. I speak German, English, and French with her 😊 I'm so glad to have found such a great place and I really appreciate the work being done here. Thank you so much! Keep up the good work! 👍🏼🫶🏼🌟
